Lessons
Lesson 1: The Basics.
Starting off can be tough! There are many things to learn, in your first lesson we discover how to hold, stand and sit with your guitar.
Lesson 2: The Strings.
In lesson two we learn which strings to choose and re-string any 6 Stringed Guitar, whether you play Classical, Acoustic or Electric Guitar.
Lesson 3: Tuning.
Tuning the guitar can be difficult for a beginner. We have provided an interactive guitar tuner, using your devices microphone. A quick turn of your tuning pegs, you'll be playing again in no time!
Lesson 4: The Frets.
In Lesson Four, covers the fundamentals on what the different types of fret boards look and feel like, how to find the fret numbers, correct finger positioning and finger posturing whilst playing the guitar.
Lesson 5: The Chords.
In this lesson you will learn how to play some of the different types of Guitar chords. This lesson covers the fundamentals of the Major Open Chords, the Barre Chords and the Power Chords.
Lesson 6: Rhythm Guitar.
In this lesson you wll learn about and how to keep to the beat, help you learn on your timing, Start Lesson about the Chords and how to play your first song on the Rhythm Guitar.
Lesson 7: The Lead Guitar.
In this lesson we will have a quick history lesson on who invented the first Electric Guitar, why the Electric Guitar was invented, how to read tab music and how to play a solo!
Playing the guitar is really healthy, it can help to manage your stress, enhance your memory, improve motor skills and will help you feel more able to cope with performing in life!
